Ellen DeGeneres Rolex collects ion

Ellen DeGeneres is one of the most-liked TV personalities. The actress, comedian, philanthropist, and host is most famous for her humor and dance moves on The Ellen Show, but to watch collects ors, she’s one serious Rolex fan.

She’s never without a watch on her show and in just about every public appearance, and she’s one of the very few ladies in Hollywood with a serious interest in watches.

Here’s what we gathered about her collects ion – and we have to say we’re very impressed:br

Ellen has a collects ion of both vintage and modern Rolexes, and one of her highly collects ible ones is the Rolex Explorer II “Steve McQueen” 1655 watch. Designed for cave explorers, it has an orange arrow-shaped hand to help the wearer see in the dark. Video from The Ellen Show on youtubes

Ellen also has the very versatile and easy travel companion, the Rolex GTNN -Master II. Suitable for both globetrotting and more formal occasions, Ellen has several models of the GTNN -Master II: the Pepsi red and blue bezel and the 18k yellow gold with anniversary green dial.

Here’s one of the more unique pieces in her collects ion: the “Smurf” Rolex Submariner 18k in White Gold and Blue Dial Ceramic Bezel. Being a Sub, this watch is made with diving in mind but it also looks right at home with Ellen’s preppy ensembles. Video from Qantas on youtubes

One of the great things about Ellen’s collects ion is she makes sure to get her hands on rare or high-tech pieces. She has the Rolex Everose Yachtmaster with an Oysterflex strap, the first Rolex to carry the beautifully-engineered, not-just-any-rubber-strap. Video from the Ellen Show on youtubes

Now we’ve come to Ellen’s obvious favorite: the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona. She has been photographed frequently with it, wearing at least 7 different styles both vintage and modern, so it’s safe to say that she loves the Daytona.

Ellen has also been quoted as saying that the Daytona is “The only watch I wear.
