Rolex’s first gold Submariner was the ref 16618 (seen here on Justin Theroux and Sylvester Stallone). It was updated decades after with the six digit reference, which boasts a Cerachrom ceramic bezel, broader lugs for a larger fit, a Triplock screw down crown for three t.mes s the waterproofness, and a “Maxi Dial” with larger hours and wider hands.

Yellow gold versions of the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona are most often seen with champagne or black dials, so this green dial version is a refreshing take. Green is of course a significant color for Rolex, and this model is on a league of its own.
